Someone else bought the company and has ported all the clients to a new system (not as good with a lot less features) -- so that's the end of that. Yep (no surprise there). It looks cool and all -- but like I said there are a few things missing, at least two of which I think are kind of important. I know some of the customers have already bailed because of that and the fact they won't make any changes to the product if requested. They have big investor money so perhaps they don't care and can absorb some lost customers.
