>>the # of listbox/cbo lines should be single digit in most cases, making it a good candidate for copy to array implemented at a fwk level..

Arrays also can also be valuable inside tight loops. E.g. you have a cursor with between 0 and 30 rows needing to be loaded into a resultset that includes 4 sets of 30 such values in a comma-demited result file. Copy to Array's ability to populate without changing array size, makes Gathering results (including blanks for all unused values) extremely efficient compared to more modern ways of achieving it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
