When I do custom work for my customers (VFP development), my billable rate is $95/hr. The billable hours - in my experience - never matches the actual hour. Usually the actual is at least twice as many hours as estimated/billed.
Anyways, what are the typical billable rates in a country of a EU? Does it vary a lot from one European country to another?
I need to give a quote to a Euro customer and I don't want give them the quote if their rates are much less than I charge. And at the same time, I don't want to price shock them.
