I do understand your drive for mssql backends. Was absolutely right decision for corporate environments.
In this case it is not dbfs that is the issue. It is workhorse app written for a small business originally that works flawlessly for 15 years now, and even though they upgraded windows servers to latest versions, knock on wood no corruption was
ever reported. What happened was few corporate takeovers where latest owner corporation has somehow VFP on list
of potentially harmful softwares and needs expert review to approve further usage.
Makes me wander if they had malicious consultants peddling this nonsense or is just a case of a dumb IT regularly visiting M$ conferences and picking bad vibes on VFP..
I am really looking forward to early retirement in some green and sunny environments ;-)
