I notice that sometimes as well in production - I will go to use the mouse wheel and it is not active (even after highlighting something in the grid) and then after clicking into the grid again, it works. It could be that I have some timer eating the mousewheel as the framework has a timer attached to my main search grids. Not sure if mousewheels are like a key press or not.
