Not superstitious. You know my foundation. I've been banned from speaking about it here, but it's real. It's not a facade. I'm not hiding behind some manmade principles. A real change took place within me, and I am now on this side of that change.

We come into things in this world. We encounter the realities of the world. We must deal with them as they are. But, when we have the opportunity to create something new, to effect change, to move the needle, it is our duty and responsibility to do it rightly.

In America right now there is an uproar over our past. We used to legalize slavery. We fought a war over it in the 1860s to end it, and it's been ended ever since. And even at the time of our nation's founding the concept almost sunk our nation's inception, as there were men strongly for it, and strongly against it even in the government that existed before the U.S. was founded.

Each of us makes choices. And all we can do is make choices and guide and teach those around us. The paths I'm on remove things like Thor from my life. They bury them in history, and do not keep them alive actively. I recognize that Thor and Thor-related things are still around. I simply do not take part in them for conscious' sake.

That's not superstition. That's principle. You have to meet people where they are, but your goal is to lead them out. You're like a GPS navigational device. You always try to steer them from where they are to where they should be, even if they take a wrong turn now and then.
