There are a multitude of places in our "modern" society where legacy teachings associated with the equivalent of demonic occult areas (to mean "things which go against what is obviously good / beneficial / normal") should be purged.

We think of so many things we are involved with as innocuous today, just leftover activities or words from a bygone era. But, they have significance, and when we begin to realize what they mean it's time to jettison them, and begin examining other areas of our lives.

3Alive exists for a reason. It was purposeful. Deliberate. Intentional. It sums up my goals in moving forward as by a conscious choices made against the increasingly vile and obscene ways of this world (imagine someone from the 1800s dropped into our society at a local mall -- they'd look for the nearest pitchfork to quickly snuff out the invasive spirit inhabiting the people of modern America today, but because it's been introduced slowly ... "it's all good," right? It's all "people being people," right? Wrong).

We each have a purpose in this world, Tamar. It's not just to get by. We have a real purpose with a real goal, and we are so far away from it by that alternate way of viewing things, of taking what seems like the "easy way" out. It's much more costly, however.

Our fundamentals require re-examination. The things we've been taught require not just acceptance, but consideration, and ultimately alteration when we find they are headed off in the wrong direction.

It's the hard way to go. But it's the right way.
