Time() is variable, but it's not
a variable. ;-) It also keeps slipping into the future unless you can take a flight from Auckland to Los Angeles every day, arriving before you left. I tell clients that I'd get more done if I could do that every day. Also fun answering "it's tomorrow morning" when North Americans ask what the time is down under. ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
