>>When I attended .NET group sessions here in 2007 at least a dozen hands went up when asked who was looking for a job.
>>Now, recruiters beg for opportunities to beg people to take jobs.
>>Are you really serious?
>>Do you really think that it was easier to reduce unemployment in 2009?

You just explained why it was easier. If you need 25 staff and 50 people raise their hand, you can hire 25. If you need 25 staff and 3 raise their hand, obviously there's a fundamental barrier to hiring 25. As unemployment falls, each additional reduction becomes more difficult.

Then something interesting happens: entrenched dependency culture is challenged. In the US, African American and Hispanic unemployment typically exceeds other ethnic groups and many inner city communities had bought into the fatalism that there's no magic wand to fix it - but you can tell they're getting back into work because the gap between them and other ethnicity rates is closing, another record btw. Reality now is that those groups are the best source of blue collar workers and have every reason for a resurgence of pride and resumption of pursuit of the dream- unless the Koch brothers and a gaggle of candidates can restore the flow of sweatshop workers from the South to avoid offering incentives and good pay to attract fellow citizens.

So where's the victim again? Oh right - the ongoing improvements are down to Obama because employing 25 staff when 50 hands are raised is identical to employing 25 staff when 3 hands are raised, and there's no magic wand to change this.

>>Right. And therefore Trump is not disgusting.

Those are your words. Mine are curiosity that you, the MSM, disgusting foul-mouthed protestors and others all cheer each other on for wearing blinkers and pretending Bad Orange Man is the only or even the worst culprit. I call it bias if people refuse to acknowledge they were wrong about the disaster to result from his tariffs or tax cuts or show any embarrassment at the double standard, including the current attempt to re-enact an Inquisition in the House of Reps... though at least the Inquisition followed some due process before they lit the pyres. You should be afraid to see such behavior in 2019, but all you can see is disgusting Trump.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
