VFP Compiler for .NET
Hi Johan,
perfect interpretation of my sometimes to short writings.
Actually the : and -> notation making things unambiguous would help glancing over code, so I might adopt it.
Trouble is, I am not the greatest typer, and those keys on german keyboard are even worse to reach than on US...
I would code {} for objects only, [] for arrays and () for functions/methods, as that would make intention stand out.
But poor vfp Beautify will never cope with that, so that part of the idea from other post is not really furthering things ;-)
If I ever feel the need to learn about ANTLR, Roslyn and the AST I might look if I could hook up a Beautify on steroids, which will write out the notation pleasing to my eyeballs from lazy dot notation without stressing my fingers...
regards
thomas
