https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/07/us/politics/michael-bloomberg-president-2020.html>And I don't mean Trump v Bloomberg. I mean Bloomberg v Soros/Warren.
I met Michael in the mid 1980's.
I was MIS director for a Wall Street Brokerage house.
He had a similar position at Salomon Brothers but was fired because of his intransigent manner. He was way ahead of his time and no one at Salomon was willing to let him do what he wanted.
He wisely realized that he had to run his own company and started developing what would later become the Bloomberg terminal that is now ubiquitous in the financial world.
He called on me to try to peddle it but it was still in the very early stages, who I didn't do any business with him.
He was in his late 30's then and was cocky to the point of being surly but that seems to have changed with time.
He was certainly one of the top 10 businessmen of his era.
He was also an outstanding mayor.
I'd have no problem voting for Michael
