In our case we have some custom project hooks that might change our forms when we open it, so you might want to check if it is your case too.

I've got a few forms that when loaded into Form Designer, it would behave as if something had been changed when I close the Form Designer (i.e. dialog for saving changes will appear) even though I'd not made any (explicit) changes to the form. I do vaguely recall this was linked to some properties (or perhaps combination of properties) being set with certain controls, and the fix for it was relatively easy (e.g. reset the properties) -- but I can't remember what the solution for it was.
