>>When asked his opinion of JFK Robert Frost answered:
>>"He's Harvard Irish.
>>I'd like to see less Harvard and more Irish."
LOL. A clever political burn from a different age, all the more enjoyable (and therefore effective) for the efficiency of it. These days JFK's policies would be called Alt-Right, so opinions from poets (now called Rappers) would involve the F word, threats against his female kin and calls to destroy the livelihood of all racist haters who admire JFK.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
