Hi,

Since a JPG file stores the image smaller than a BMP file, I would like to use the "Append General" command to load the image into a table. However, when I do this, a link is stored in the file and not the image.

(Using VFP 6.0)
If I do:

Append General PICTURE from c:\mypict.bmp

the image in the file is perfect.

but if I do:
Append General PICTURE from c:\mypict.jpg
the image in the file is "mypict.jpg" and I need to double click the image in order to see the actual picture.

Is there a way to get this to work like a BMP?
