Thanks for material and the great support on VFP forums.

I definitely hope we may be in a position to compile our VFP code bases as Xsharp. These VFP "code bases" are of course quite heavy, in multiples of 100-ks lines with little to no chance to break them in blocks. And there are, for sure, still a couple of them at work all around the globe...

My anticipation is that full rewriting of these sizable VFP apps is certainly not possibly for most without massive productivity improvement factors at play. And in most cases, dotnet-based rewriting, whatever the tools at hand ,is offering at best a limited reduction of productivity. Nothing like an improvement here.

Source-code recompilation would be a marvel... I understand that this VFP compatibility may be a daunting challenge and look forward to see how the whole thing is developing.

The support of the couple of great VFP-ers, such as Matt Slay and few others recently, who have jumped on-board is definitely promising. Time will tell. But I'm sure a lot of us appreciate the effort that you and the whole Xsharp team is delivering in terms of VFP support. I definitely hope for the very best for the great work and community support efforts :-)
