That was my "ah-ha" moment. After i started running my process...i thought about that point. After it finished, looked at it and it's NUMERIC...yeaph, i started baning my head on my desk at that point and decided to call it a night, LOL

Are you sure they are Chars?
What is the result of this:
? VARTYPE(stock_high)
