I agree. Let's thank all the major players involved...but let's not leave out folks like those at Software Development. I've been a looong time subscriber and am pleased that VFP finaly got some recognition from them. A lot of developers who would never had looked at our area of Visual Studio now know we exist as something more than a joke.

Can we folk that up with an article or two...or will we let it fade out of their memories?

>I agree with you. I've been a big skeptic about this. I've always felt like the VFP team was commiitted to the product but that people higher up at Microsoft were not. I still don't expect MS to ever consider VFP a key product. The only hope for that is as a middle-tier tool and that will only happen with better ADO and MTS support. However, I'm encouraged to see the press and promotion it's been getting lately. If nothing else it will make it easier for us to convince our customers to trust VFP.
