One of the reasons I keep VMs (XP with no internet functionality, very low patch frequency...) for such stuff is that it relieves me of the worry the error was somehow introduced by running vfp in an environment built to mirror windoze...

Life is too short to keep machines without SSD around - at todays prices for sure ;-)
