Where in your forms are you putting the SET STATUS OFF? If a Private datasession, try putting it in BeforeOpenTables of the DataEnvironment.

So I put SET STATUS OFF in all of my forms, which is almost the entire app. Still, part way into the app, the Status bar reappears.
