>>>>>Label claims 100% cotton - see image. But the label's the easiest thing to fake. The English looks OK but the French has a typo.
>>>
>>>Sure does!
>>>
>>>According to the interwebs, some helpful suppliers provide "100% cotton" labels referring to the label itself. If somebody were to sew those onto plastic towels, you cannot blame the label manufacturer for that! ;-)
>>
>>Something like https://dilbert.com/strip/1996-12-31 .

>>>If it's sliding over you without drying, Occam's Razor says either it's a miserable effort without enough loops to absorb water, or it's got plenty of plastic in it.

>>It looks like the manufacturer has figured out a way to spin some sort of "yarn" using ultra-short staple cotton (i.e. lint) plus wax/silicone.
>This reminds me of the Chinese ceiling fans I bought. 11 fans all came in the same looking boxes, all with the same item number and all looked exactly the same when assembled - in 4 different ways and 10 pounds of leftover screws, brackets, bolts and nuts.

When we say that a programmer here is "one in million" there are 300 like that programmer.

When the Chinese say that, there are one thousand like that programmer.

Since Korea, the Chinese have not lost or slaughtered a single person in a war.

We've had Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc,

We spent over a trillion on those failures.

If you have an IPhone, Ipad, or Ipod (I don't) it was made, and probably designed in China.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
