I'll check it out- but it's an extra step and past experience is that many external users think complexity of subject matter translates to complexity of installation requiring immediately available (emergency) vendor assistance when they decide to install. So it absolutely needs to be KISS! Perhaps this is another of the remaining benefits of VFP- that as long as you avoid Common Controls and other ActiveX, it's easy to talk somebody through unzipping/copying files that should work immediately on practically any PC.

Although keep in mind that MariaDB or MySQL does not need to be installed at all. Just copy to a folder and run on demand. There is no setup or service required to run.
