We're obsessed with national election outcomes.
My life and the lives of my family and friends have not been affected by the outcome of the 2016 election.
Everyone I know was profoundly affected by the crash of 2007. We're still seeing the impact - most of the people in my community are retirees whose incomes have been decimated by those low rates.
I don't anticipate another one of that magnitude, but with rates in near negative territory and with a $3/4 trillion deficit, there are fewer tools available to handle one when it comes.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
