If the users connect using a browser then any report they print is sent to the browser as a pdf file which then can be opened by the default pdf reader and printed on the local printer. I use FoxIt as the default pdf reader which pops up automatically when they print a report. Whether you connect via the browser or remote desktop client the it is just as if the application was running on the local desktop. The user makes changes and prints reports just like normal. In fact there are options to have your application run as a Remote App. Which means you do not see a second desktop top the app appears to be running from the local desktop.

The prices range from $60 - $2500/month. My EG-16 servers just cost me $160/month (Cdn) but prices keep going down with technology improvements so I expect my next servers will be cheaper. I see that I can get a 32gig version now for $108/month.

When you order a server you can pick the ram, drives and operating system. The Windows Server license cost me $25/month and is part of the $160/month I quoted above.
