I get that it's for a spinner - but then you use the result in a BETWEEN or <= upper limit, correct? Point is that in VFP you don't get to see the datetime tick worth 0.003 seconds (or 0.0000001 seconds for datetime2) that pushes the SQL Server value past your upper bound. Happy hours of hear-tearing can result. In VFP you might consider adding a second to any MSSQL SQL datetime upper limit and use < to ensure the invisible tick doesn't smite you. If this definitely is of no value to you, peace, and sorry I spoke.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
