I was trying Microsoft KB article ID: Q138559 - "How to append record to a grid" unsuccesfully.

In the grid I use table "orditems.dbf" from database "testdata.dbc" in data environment.
The form's buffering property is set to "optimistic" and for for the cursor in DE is set to "use form defaults".

The newly created record after APPEND BLANK cannot got the focus and the grid pointer move back to one row above the newly appended row. The append process is succes, but the pointer can't go to the newly created record.

Is it normal? Or something goes wrong?

I found that in this process the AfterRowColChange event fired twice.

I use VFP 3.0

Is anybody would help me?
