I bought XOM @ $48.98 and GE @ $10.33 on Friday - probably too early. So far so good. GE is now @ $10.97 and XOM @ $52.24. But, I am prepared for some bad news before everything settles down. I had a little cash left over after paying for trees (about 250,000) I had planted for my grandchildren. They may blow it all - trees and stocks - but I'll be dead by then. At least they have the opportunity what they do with it will be up to them.
