>>It's serious when important institutions are called into question by someone in power.

I presume you're talking about media and democrats attacking the executive branch for (insert false accusation here) wrt this virus?

No?

I see.

>>He's attacked the press, the military, the state dept, the courts, prosecutors, even the jury that convicted Roger Stone.

Press: Trump's campaign now has 2 defamation cases against corporate media with WAPO added yesterday. It's not easy in the US for a public figure or political institution to win a defamation suit against media thanks to the SCOTUS Sullivan vs NYT decision back in the days when media was a pillar of democracy. The suits claim that defendants willfully defame political foes to damage election prospects. Whichever side loses will appeal this all the way to SCOTUS where, if Trump is at fault, he will be struck down by the constitutionalists. Alternatively, Trump wins and Sullivan vs NYT is overturned on the grounds that media does indeed use Sullivan as a weapon for its own political biases to defame and attack its political foes (that a neutral pillar of democracy should not have).

Courts, prosecutors, "even the jury" - I'll limit response to "the jury" by which you mean Stone's foreperson who concealed deep animus towards Trump and his associates. Who would want such a person on their jury. Again, if it is appealed and the court disagrees this justifies a new trial, then I will agree that Trump should not attack a foreperson. Unlike certain others, I'm able to see misbehavior whichever direction it comes from.

>>There are millions of people who believe what he says- I know some of them.

Millions of others appear to believe that this disgusting person always lies. I know some of them.

>>As I've said before the ultimate conclusion for these people is that only Trump can be trusted.

The conclusion expressed to me is that it's the swamp that can't be trusted, so even with all his faults you have to support Trump who only gets 2 terms to try to drain the swamp before the corrupt elitists take over again.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
