https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnocentrism). Reading wikipedia, I recognize ethnocentricism in myself, but I don't agree to the idea that it (kind of automatically) implies a feeling of superiority. Pride, yes in some aspects. Superiority feelings, yes in some aspects, but not in all aspects.

Dunno, haven't been there since 1979, and even then, stayed in hotels in the big cities. Judging by YT videos, driving around may be a problem, distances are huge and service is sparse and there seems to be too many fresh drivers who still didn't learn some basics (like stop when the vehicles in other two lanes have stopped, there's a pedestrian; don't turn left from the right lane or right from the left; look back AGAIN when you think it's all clear to move backwards; adjust the speed to both visibility and road surface, not to your engine power alone).
I guess driving would become boring after two days, when you'd realize there's four more days of the same landscape until you get somewhere :).
