>>COVID-19 spreads exponentially...
I made the point re exponential infection curve some days ago, but then China had only 19 new cases on Monday. Meanwhile Italy is seeing an exponential increase similar to that seen in Wuhan in early days. Meanwhile, while this isn't an official site (and still quotes 3.6% mortality) it has good regional graphs showing exponential increase in Europe and America but no longer in Asia which dominates the stats:
https://covid19info.live/We may yet learn that this new sort of virus burns bright, but brief. Let us hope that is the case...
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
