>>>>Overall: people with $ to spare might consider a punt on some of those stocks worst affected by the panic, though you mght also want to consider shedding your toilet paper futures asap.

>>>Yep -- good time to buy as long as you are buying something that won't go under all together.

>>These are people who have stayed out of the market.

>>>Yep -- good time to buy as long as you are buying something that won't go under all together.

>>This market and other assets have beens artificially propped up by central banks around the world offering money for nothing.
>>
>>As we learned in 2008, sooner or later the house of cards tumbles.
>To each to their own. I made a bundle.
>I do have a question. I've seen all these self- quarantine martyrs on TV, have you seen any prices on what the cost of the tests are and how that stacks up against the lost of 2 week production?
>
I have no idea what you're talking about.

>Second question:
>This is from the Washington Post last Sat. "The grim conclusion: For patients infected with the novel coronavirus who became critically ill with pneumonia and entered their ICU, the doctors recorded “high” numbers of fatalities. Of the 52 people included in the sample, 32 died in the 28-day span of the study, revealing a death rate of 61 percent. Most died within seven days of being admitted to the ICU.
>
>For comparison, mortality rates generally ranging between 30 and 40 percent are observed for patients who are sickened by ordinary seasonal flu and are fighting pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome in ICUs."
>
>I would like your opinion and consider that the "ordinary flu" seems to strike all ages and the Coronavirus mostly attack us "old farts".
>
I don't have the slightest idea of what you're talking about.
Princeton University, near here, went on virtual classes to day.
I support a local symphony orchestra whose music I cherish.
This weekend, they've scheduled a performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, which I've never seen in person and would love to see and hear.
That's a lot of people in an enclosed space.
I'll buy the tickets but skip the performance.
Why?
I want to be around to see the Masters.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
