Terry,
I had a HP6 connected to my computer, and have removed the driver for it and replaced it with a HP4 driver. Like you, so far so good, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, because lately I haven't been able to work in vfp6 for more than a couple of minutes without freezing up....
I had read threads on problems with hp drivers with vfp5, but I thought I read they were fixed in vfp6...I guess that's why it didn't even cross my mind...
Thanks,
Kevin

Note that the reports didn't have to be printed, but with that printer selected as the default and one of the getprinter() functions used, the system would hang...but only later, not right away. It was like the driver was slowly eating resources until the computer ran out of patience (divide by zero or infinite loop???).
