I appreciate the sentiment, but again, let me re-iterate and maybe clarify:

I do not believe anyone at CNN wants anyone specifically to get ill.
I do not believe anyone in the media is rooting for higher numbers per se.

But I actually believe CNN is trying to play Trump's game. And they wind up validating Trump's points (and in fairness, Trump's administration winds up validating some of the media's points)

There is a reason they want this to be "Trump's Chernobyl"
