I have a client that suddenly submits dates in 17MAR2013 format that isn't handled by current import code. This format is easy enough to parse, but I recall clever routines from yesteryear that could parse just about any legible free text expression into a date rather than just this variant. Rather than reinventing the wheel, I've checked downloads without joy and wonder whether anybody has a pointer to such a routine. Thanks, - J
