We're prepared to do that so that our children and grandchildren can get on with their lives.
We've hugged them enough to realize that foregoing future hugs is a good idea till this all passes away- as it will.
I've found a spot where I can whack some golf balls alone without having to worry about being infected by fellow competitors. I've played thousands of competitive rounds and bowing out now is a small price to pay so that the younger players don't have to worry about endangering a vulnerable senior.
That's a health decision but it has a social effect.
We hear lot about the health and economic impact of the virus, but little about its social impact.
I think that it will be profound, and probably for the better.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
