I'm working in a field of healthcare where incredible amounts of money are concerned. I know the field very well, so to imply that physicians and scientist world wide are willing to put millions of lives at risk for just money I find absolutely ridiculous. I personally know quite a lot of scientist and a few I consider personal friends. Only very few got rich, others are just middle class citizens. Sure, in every field you got rotten apples, but the vast majority of scientist are not in the field to just to get rich.

I'd suggest you read upon clinical drug trials and learn what is involved, and moreover what can go wrong and has gone wrong in history. Things go horribly wrong if serious side effects are overlooked, just ask any DES daughter.
