>Maybe consider 2 X larger 4K monitors or even 8K these days... my 4K notebook screen can display the equivalent of 4 X HD monitors, but when mobile the text is so tiny it's a strain and I have to run at 125% meaning only 3 X HD. Apart from monitors, worth checking prices on midsize OLED TVs too.
Thanks John,
I got a DELL XPS 13 with 4K as well, but I hate the more than 100% scaling, it always causes some problems in certain applications, even from MS themselves.
When using two 4K monitors, I need at least a 40+ inch monitor as else the resolution gets to small for my comfort. Those monitors aren't cheap either and that solution would be even more expensive for what I'm doing now.
The other thing I'm worrying about is when moving windows into place and maximizing them. With 6 separate monitors, it is easy as each monitor is recognised as such, but with only one monitor serving as 4HD monitors, I'm afraid it will become a mess real quickly. Perhaps there is a tool that could turn a 4HD monitor into 4xHD monitors logically. I'm not aware of such tool though.
Walter,
