The gap is less than 12mm. The edges of the screen to the display area is only 5.6mm, so that is not so much a concern.
I'll see how this works. I might change the setup later if I conclude higher resolution vertical panels are beneficial.

I already received the monitors, they are beautiful. Still waiting for the cables, video card and monitor stand.
