It's funny you mention that. I certainly place little stock on the CFR being 5%.

Having said that, when the CDC came out about 2 weeks ago and made the announcement that the CFR is maybe just twice that of the flu, I really wondered if "they" had enough data to be able to say that. Their supporting data seemed a bit skimpy.

If it's not obviously, there's maybe a little more emphasis in my dashboard on death rates and death rates w/respect to population. To me, those are the "bottom line" numbers.
