Hi,
I will need to install VFP 9 on a new computer which comes without a CD/DVD drive.
1. I can buy an external USB-connected CD/DVD drive and install VFP9
2. If I don't choose 1 (above), the other method is to copy all files from the DVD onto a thumb drive on the computer that has a DVD drive. Then install VFP9 from the thumb drive. But from what I remember, during the installation of VFP9 I have to insert a VFP DVD of a previous version. I have those prev versions DVD but nothing to insert them to. What file do I need to copy to a thumb drive from the prev version of the VFP?
3. Create an image of my existing VFP9 installation - on the Windows 7 (where I type this message). Then install VFP 9 from the image. Is this possible? If so, how?
TIA
