Great, I will certainly look at those and see if that helps me get started. Perhaps I can try out a few simple tests myself to get into it.

I haven't seen the bignumbers, but this is something I would use as well. I used an old VFP class for this (to calculate large hashnumbers for bank transfer files for instance), but it had trouble with negative numbers and differences in point settings so I had to do some adjustments to it.
