This program that I am trying to install has nothing to do with VFP or .NET. This is the SecureLink Connection Manager. The only thing on which it depends (I mentioned it before) is Java. And, as I said, I tried all kind of Java versions. And now I am convinced it is not Java but something else.
>Perhaps the installation assumes you've got something already present -- e.g. a particular version of the Microsoft C Runtime library or perhaps a particular version of .NET libraries?

>I do vaguely recall with an older version of VFP (i.e. VFP 6.0), we had to "temporarily" install a particular library so that the installer (the one that came with VFP 6.0) could actually run to completion.
