Thanks, looks like an interesting program. However, it states it can only read PDF's it generates. I'm looking for a program to OCR existing pdfs, not scan/ocr like this program appears to do.

I'm still having trouble finding something that will work - have looked at iText pdfocr add-on, but not sure I want to invest that much c# learning time. Is there anything else? I would be happy with a command line program if it existed.
