If you have the VFP 6.0 ODBC driver installed, MS distributed it without the FOXPRO.INT file. As I understand it, this file is responsible for the proper translation of diacritical signs; if it's missing I guess you might see strange signs... It is available on the MS VFP web site along with the instructions.
