>>>I think all the rioting and property damage (and the mainstream media trying to make excuses for it) are going to wind up hurting the Democratic cause in the general election. Quite simply, there are many people who are afraid to admit they will vote for Trump, but will quietly do so.

>Meanwhile The Atlantic's hit piece about Trump calling vets and casualties losers, is one "cry wolf" too many this close to the election. I doubt the MSM ever will regain prominence in the lead-up to an election- especially if they also protect Biden by canceling presidential debates- with 100% of my US colleagues now resigned to looking elsewhere, even to Al Jazeera, for a semblance of balance.

You nailed that article perfectly- "a hit piece". A pathetic anti-Trump rant, drivel. If journalism is investigating and reporting the facts then this is an example of what journalism is not. Full of quotes of what he said but without any proof, only unnamed anonymous sources, he said - she said, and all written in quotes indicating verbatim recorded statements. Does the author know what quote-marks mean? The claims of what Trump has said, not just once but allegedly repeatedly over years, are ridiculous and unbelievable for anyone in his position. So many incidents of Trump allegedly saying these things but they cannot even get one single source on record? Really? This is a perfect example of why MSM has become utter trash. There is no independence and integrity in MSM journalism anymore - it is all propaganda for one side or the other. Presstitutes is the right word for them.
In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends - Martin Luther King, Jr.
