Woodward tapes sound true to me, moving first knowledge to New Year, but I give Trump credit for not having same expirience as some Asian states - up until end of March "measures" taken were most of the time measurs less guided by sceince, but other political will stymied elsewhen. So I give Trump credit for lucking it out on closing borders early.

Claiming prescience now (on the heels of Bahrein announcement) might look like a cheap trick - but I expected more o that line after UAE announcement, to give a story with positive spin up until November 3rd. Expecting something else in that area, but probably with a slightly different spin, as dominoes falling will get even less mention later on. Perhaps forming a round table or establishing a meeting (giving options for msgs over a span of time) to keep attention and spin alive.

Yes, it is more against Shiite homeland - perhaps his base ideas were formed with Carter/Reagan embassy affair and 9/11 making his hut claim tallest building in NY, if you want to argue with ardent Trump haters. But ANYTHING reached down there between struggling parties should be viewed as as a diffcult win IMO.
