I had similar problem, that is pressing F1 opens the Help function of Edge, where Edge is installed but never used.
I have solved as follows:
created a shortcut on dv_foxhelp,chm on my desktop
Then placed this shortcut on my statusbar
Here in Properties I asigned Alt+F1 to this shortcut. Jippee!!
