Hi,
The problem started today (or over the weekend). I connect to the RDT of the server where my app resides. I try to start my application, the application won't connect to the SQL Server. The error:
ODBC SQL Server Driver: SSL Security Error
But the customers can run the application from their desktops. Only I cannot run it from the server.
What should I check?
TIA
UPDATE. This is a brief description I found when Googling the error message:
common reason for receiving SSL related errors on a Microsoft SQL database connection is either due to the
SQL servers TLS ciphers being updated (such as removing an older TLS version like 1.0 or 1.1), or perhaps
when moving from one server environment over to a new environment
How do I check, while connected to the server, the version of TLS?
