In the Microsoft link below, in Windows 10 it's possible to change just the size of text, or to change "everything". If you find desktop icons etc. hard to read you could experiment with the "Make text bigger" slider while leaving the "Make everything bigger" at 100%.

>When I changed the text size on the Windows 10 to 100%, the resolution comes to exactly 1920x1080. Therefore, it is apparent that the text size selected in the Display Setting affects the resulting resolution. Something I didn't know.

>>>This page is not accurate. What Tore Bleken suggested works better.

>>>UPDATE. On my Windows 7 with external monitor, the Sysmetric(1) and (2) show exactly the resolution I see in the Display Resolution. The website you suggested shows a different values.
>>>On my Windows 10 notebook (without the external monitor), the sysmetric show the values of 1536 by 864. The website you suggested shows the resolution exactly. So, it works on Windows 10 but not well on Windows 7.

>>>Thank you.

>>>>>>>Hi Al,
>>>>>>>What you are saying sounds very true. The Display Resolution on Windows 10 notebook says "1920 x 1080 (Recommended)". So, the actual is probably what you indicated in your message. I just need to figure how to see it, just so that I know.
>>>>>>>This tells me that I need to redesign my VFP 9 app - this is my in-house app for customers/versions/updates/etc. I use it during the travel where I won't have an external monitor and need to make sure that I can use in the notebook alone. It should not be a super big deal for me to redesign.
>>>>>>>Thank you very much!

>>>>>>>>The first thing to check is that on the Win10 machine the display is actually running at ("full" HD) 1920x1080. It sounds like it might actually be running at 1366x768, which is commonly marketed as "HD" but is less than full HD resolution. Just because a screen is capable of 1080p doesn't necessarily mean it's running at that resolution.
