>>This is foolish. Even the left-learning fact checks sites have called him out. Both he and others in the White House are very guilty of lying.
>>The problem, JR, is that it doesn't fit your narrative. That's as dishonest as the mainstream media. You always defend the status quo....that's your narrative.

Alternatively, perhaps the "problem" is not just the habitual incivility but the willful misrepresentation that's becoming normal in certain circles.

In this case, I referred to Obama's "keep your doctor" comments and you respond with "keep your plan" rationalizations from an organ you say is biased. Then you present the non sequitur as a killer argument that justifies name calling and patronizing take downs.

If you wanted to discuss the completely different point in the citation, it's so obvious as to be a truism that ACA created minimum requirements that some plans could not meet, and that government was willing to enforce those "minimums" as Little Sisters of the Poor soon discovered. But that's very different from the "keep your doctor" sentiments I referred to. I am not Trump and you are not Fake News, so what are you playing at?

As for "status quo" - the Trump Administration just formally published policy protecting those with pre-existing conditions from predatory insurer behaviors, but unless that's coupled to "individual mandate" then that's the same unforced error that doomed ACA. You can prop it up for a while by subsidies but it'll fail for the same "fire insurance" reason I raised earlier.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
