Thank you for that feedback Christian.

>>Based on that publicity, environment with a low percentage can be interpreted as dying environment or not really used.

>>I presume that somebody looking at their next development environment for many years won't really consider an environment with a low percentage. Eventually we'll have to look for consultants or new employees. Lower percentage will make our searches more difficult.

>That in my opinion is actually the main criteria when choosing a new development tool. The technology itself doesn't matter as long as you can produce everything you are trying to accomplish in a reasonable time. The languages were changing since 1970 and still continue to change during the next 50 years. Each time there is a language in the higher percentage that seems like the holy grail, until it gets replaced with another one. No one in their right mind should care which tool you are using as long as you meet the requirements of the OS and security concerns, and of course the specific interest of the prospected clients.
>So what's left is the question if you find professional developers with sufficient experience that you can hire for your projects.
